Bashabi (alias Dolon) teaches architecture in the university and is a practicing architect specializing in hospital planning; also involved with restoration of ancient heritage properties for many years and currently deeply involved in revitalization projects for small peri-urban settlements.

Arjun worked many years as a senior executive in a commercial organization and is now following his passions of teaching and human resources development. Despite being a hard core technocrat, he has developed a deep grasp and insight into the history of India and its diversity. He is also very deeply concerned with environmental issues and wild life conservation.

Arjun & Bashabi have two sons, Vikram & Pratap, both of whom are successful bankers and are currently in USA.

Arun & Bani were the enlightened parents of Arjun, who brought up Arjun and his siblings in post independent India of the 50’s with amazing sensitivity towards society, compassion towards the under priviledged, scholarship and a broad global outlook.
